Applications are invited for admission into B.Sc.Ed, B.A.Ed, M.Sc.Ed, M.Ed programmes for the academic year 2013 – 2014 at Regional Institute of Education, Mysore:
Programmes / Eligibility:
4 Year Bachelor of Science Education (B.Sc.Ed): A pass in Hr. Sec. or equivalent examination with 45% marks in aggregate with subjects: i) Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for PCM Stream, and ii) Physics, Chemistry and Biology OR Chemistry, Botany & Zoology for CBZ stream.
4 Year Bachelor of Arts Education (B.A.Ed): A pass in Hr. Sec. or equivalent examination with 45% marks in aggregate and with English, Regional Language and any two subjects: History / Geography / Economics / Political Science / Sociology
6 Year Master of Science Education ( M.Sc.Ed) in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics: A pass in Hr. Sec. or equivalent with 45% marks in aggregate and with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
One Year Master of Education (M.Ed): A pass in B.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed. / B.A.Ed. or equivalent degree with 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates with a PG degree will be given appropriate weightage.
Note: Admission to M.Sc.Ed Programme is open to candidates of all states/UTs of India, whereas admission to B.Sc.Ed, B.A.Ed and M.Ed Programmes is open only to candidates of Southern States and UT’s.
